Still working on the practicum and my final packet and progress report, but I managed to complete this work in the last couple of days. Weighs in at close to 35 lbs. so good bet I won't be schlepping it to the rez this Feb. I might be able to complete a smaller (and lighter) piece by then. Here is a link to my blog, with more writing about the piece.
Shades of Kurt Schwitters and Joseph Cornell to be sure. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Feb. (I can almost smell that bonfire smoke now),
Jason called me and he is re-locating to southern NH, nearer to his family and new job.

Wow--your work is marvelous, David. Warmest wishes for happy and peaceful holidays to all my G3 friends--can't wait to see everyone at Goddard.
Love,
Susan
Thank you Susan. I am working on another one. My critique group really liked this piece and the group leader challenged me to create an equally nice one by next meeting. I am trying also to make a smaller one I can bring and hang at the Goddard library exhibit, along with some larger photo images of these two. Cheers...bonfire not too far in the future now.
David, it would be terrific if you could bring a work to Goddard. It's hard, I know, for those of us who fly.
Bonfire just around the bend!
Susan
