I did see that--and am very curious about the back story. Some of the comments people made (faculty) now make more sense. I will really miss Danielle. A book I like by Robert Quinn says we have only two choices--deep change or slow death. I vote for the former! Warmest regards to all, Susan
I think Susan might agree that in academe, most of us are (were) nomads. It is not at all uncommon for changes like this to occur. I was amazed to learn that she has had 17 years at Goddard. That's a very long time to be at one institution nowadays. She was interesting, and I think (most of?) the faculty looked up to her.
That seems like a very big deal for the program since she was the "Creator!" Am I wrong in thinking that way? Who will take her place? I was wondering why I hadn't heard from her about a question I had! Well I guess my laptop problem isn't such a big deal. I still am coming in codes! Danielle gone! Wow! Hey guys keep in touch! I agree with David--it is a nomadic existence!
